Our story
The name The Old Attic isn’t just a brand, it comes from the place itself.
Before The Old Attic existed, this location was my parents’ shop. It never made big profits, but it made enough to keep our family going. Over time, though, the shop slowly died. Business faded, the space changed, and eventually it became clear there was no future in keeping it open. My parents made the hard decision to close the doors.
For six years, the shop stayed shut. It wasn’t a store anymore, just a quiet room used for storage, filled with old boxes, leftover clutter, and forgotten pieces of the past. And standing in that space, I kept thinking the same thing: it felt like an attic, one of those places where memories collect, and where you can still find something special if you look closely.
That’s where the name came from. The Old Attic was inspired by the location itself, and the idea of giving that space a second life, turning it from a closed chapter into a place where people can discover meaningful gifts, nostalgic treasures, and little moments of joy again.
Our mission
The Old Attic was founded in 2022 with one display case and a simple idea: to create a shop where people can find special, meaningful items you won’t easily come across elsewhere. Whether you’re a fan of anime, a collector of vintage-inspired accessories, or someone searching for the perfect personalized gift, we wanted to build a space where you could always discover something exciting.
Over the years, our collection has grown far beyond those first carefully chosen pieces, expanding from engraved jewelry and Zippo lighters to pocket watches, retro gaming consoles, stylish clothing, and unique finds for collectors. At the same time, we make it a priority to keep up with new trends at a reasonable price, so everyone can find something thoughtful without stress. We’ve also introduced a loyalty program for cigar purchases, giving our customers even more reasons to return.
